The Christmas Singing

The Christmas Singing by Cindy Woodsmall is a love story about Matt Eash and Gideon Beiler, a young Amish couple torn apart by a lie on Christmas Eve.  A few years later they are forced into one another’s company again, but Mattie is still hurt by Gideon’s lie, even though she has tried desperately to rebuild her life again without him.  And Gideon is still hopelessly in love with her.  But can Gideon humble himself to tell her the truth and allow Mattie to make her own decisions?

I really enjoyed this story, and honestly, I forgot that it was about an Amish couple many times during the story, not that that is either good or bad, but it was just an all around good story.  It’s a quick read and perfect for the Christmas season!
